What is a Dynamic Visualization + Strategy POV?
A DV + Strategy POV is a snapshot in time of some aspect of your destination. This includes a detailed report of insights and recommendations and a dynamic visualization, which is meant to show a specific and fixed timeframe, as a deep dive into targeted data insights.
How do I order my DV + Strategy POV
Within your ZDOS™ there is a button conveniently located in the insight modules that have DV + Strategy POVs available. Simply click the link within the module and fill out the request form.

Once the form is submitted your DV + Strategy POV will be emailed to you within 10 business days and saved within your ZDOS under the Visualization: Resources Module.
When you request a DV + Strategy POV you will receive the following resources:
PDF Intelligence Brief - Insights and recommendations based on the Kepler Map, Module, and Zartico experienced knowledge and national trends.
Map + Documentation - A Kepler Map link and support documents on using your Kepler map and map methodology.
Exported Module - Exported version of the module used for the analysis.
How many DV & Strategy POVs can I request?
You may request the amount of DV + Strategy POVs that are in your contracted agreement. If you would like to know how may DV + Strategy POVs you have left for the contract year, you may reach out to support@zartico.com
What types of strategy POVs can you request?
There are five types of DV + Strategy POVs you can request. These are based on the insight modules within your ZDOS™ you have unlimited access to. You would request a DV + Strategy POV when you want a deeper dive than is possible through your self-serve modules.

What can each Insight Module help me understand about my destination?
Situational Awareness - Understand how your destination is performing by analyzing high-level visitation and spending trends, as well as key hotel insights.
Strategic Planning - Identify opportunities to accelerate or manage visitation. Use this to develop campaigns and personalization strategies, and conduct strategic market analysis.
Origin Behaviors - Filter these insights by visitor origin market (use the Market Area filter above) to compare traveler visitation trends and behavior.
Event Insight - Understand how visitation and spend trends changed by selecting the date range and city or county that an event occurred in.
Visitor Profile - Understand a snapshot of your destination by looking at who your visitors are and the impact they make on your destination.
Event Insight Strategy POV
An Event Insight Strategy POV will help you understand the shifts in overall destination visitor movement, spending trends, and hotel performance (if available) during the selected event dates. The “event” in question can be a festival, convention/conference, sports tournament, concert, etc. — or you could choose to look at the dates of a holiday, school break, or other period of impact. Additional insights may include visitor/resident mix at the event location, event attendee origin mix, event attendee cross visitation, etc.
The Event Insight Strategy POV is recommended to use for events that are seven consecutive days or shorter. If you would like to review the impact of an event or installation that is longer than seven days (such as a holiday display, etc.) we recommend requesting a Spotlight Strategy POV.

- Dynamic Visualization which may include a time-lapse and/or cross-visitation trends of event attendees
- National travel trends curated by Zartico strategists

When should I request an Event Insight Strategy POV?
- You want to know the impact of an event/conference/holiday on your destination.
- You want to know if an event is a primary visitor driver or mostly attended by residents.
- You get asked to sponsor a community event.
- You want to show the importance of a holiday weekend in your destination.
- You get asked why you provide incentives to bring meetings or conferences to your destination.

Origin Behaviors Strategy POV
An Origin Behaviors Strategy POV looks at visitors from up to three different origin markets to better understand the key differences in their visitation behaviors and impact. Additional insights may include top origin cities within the origin markets, visitor spending trends, and more.
You can select your top origin markets or the new/opportunity markets you are interested in learning more about, including recommendations for how to best target them. We recommend that the study date range span at least for a season (three months) or a 12-month period for optimal insights.

Spotlight Strategy POV
A Spotlight Strategy POV looks at a specific place and its impact on a destination. This can be a specific point of interest (example: Fort Worth Convention Center), POI Category (example: retail locations), Region (example: Downtown Seattle), City, or County. Additional insights may include visitor/resident mix at the spotlight location, visitor origin mix, cross-visitation behaviors, and more.
We recommend your Spotlight Strategy POV span at least one month (30 days) and up to 12 months for optimal insights.
This is the Strategy POV to request if you want to understand the impact or visitation trends from an Out-of-Boundary (OOB) Point of Interest.
