Place-Based Maps - Now Live in ZDOS™
Earlier this month, at Zarticon, we announced Place Based Maps would be available within the ZDOS™️ very soon.
Well, the day has arrived.
Now you can easily access a map of your destination's regions and places of impact (POIs) within the ZDOS™. This is the same map used during implementation or a map reload just conveniently located within the Visualization: Resources module. Need to know about a specific region, boundary, or POI? Simply refer to the map for instant answers.
A friendly reminder, the Zartico place-based strategy is comprised of the individual places and primary reasons people visit your destination. These would be considered the major drivers of tourism or places of impact (i.e. conferences, stadiums, or attractions). Contextual points of impact bookend the primary points with groupings of categories that comprise your visitor economy (i.e. hotels, restaurants, etc.).
