This week, while snacking on an apple🍎, a thought occurred to us. We should update the date dimensions in the ZDOS™ for better “apples-to-apples comparisons.” Next week we plan on visiting an ant farm. Who knows what types of bugs we will fix as a result… 🐜🐞🐛

 

Upgraded date dimensions for all data sets across all modules.

This enhancement to the date dimensions allows for better consistency across time-based filtering comparisons. For example, this will resolve if a given week is split between two years or quarters. Going forward, the first week in a year will be the first week in the quarter with 13 weeks per quarter (unless it’s a leap year). 

Very simply, this allows for better “apples to apples comparisons” as defined by week this year versus the same week from last year, etc. 😉

 

And, that's not all. Other updates this week include...

 

Added two new charts in the Analyze section of the Media Planning Module to provide a clearer view of in-market credit card spending. 💳

This update will allow partners easier access to essential information needed for effective media planning.

For our agency partners, we’ve also made some enhancements to the Sizmek Module.

Impressions by Day and Ad Format Insight: We are now showing monthly impressions for the entire year not bound to any date filter. 

CTR Compared to Previous 7 Days Insight: Changed to configure to date range rather than 7 days.

CTR by Vendor Insight: Created a drill-in to see ad performance.

Video Completion Rate by Vendor: Changed to show by Vendor instead of Ad Format.

And, updated the module attribute filters so they are configured to one another.
