What is a Primary POI?

You might hear this term often throughout your milestone meetings on your implementation journey. Let's define what we mean.

POI stands for Place of Impact. A Primary POI is a place visitors plan a day of their visit around.  It is also most likely on the top 10 list of things to do in your destination. You can think of Primary POIs as the destination drivers which attract visitation to your destination. So if your destination is unique because of its history or heritage assets like house museums or battlefields then those would be considered a Primary POI.
