Two new spending data improvements for ZDOS®
We have implemented a new, expanded methodology to identify and remove online transactions from your spending data while retaining spending at brick-and-mortar locations.In addition, new spending categorization better aligns primary categories among geolocation and spending data, making it easier to uncover trends in visitor behavior.
- New categories for Arts & Entertainment and Sports better capture associated activities.
- Merchant category codes (MCCs) formerly categorized as Nightlife have been reassigned to match geolocation categorization.
- The Financial and Business & Professional categories have been removed based on client feedback.
- The Retail and Transportation categories now capture even more MCCs.
