Event Report (Module Overview)

Want to see the impact of an event on your destination? Check out this module!

This Module will help you understand how visitation and spend trends change by selecting the date range and city or county where an event occurred.

What is the Goal of this Module?

This module helps you have an easier way to see the impact of events on your destination with just a few clicks.

Watch a walkthrough demo of this module:

In this module, you will see:

  • The impact of an event on visitation within an area of your destination.
  • The impact of an event on spending within an area of your destination.
  • Information on the visitors that were observed in the area during the event.

What Does This Module Tell Me?

The insights look at the difference between the selected timeframe and the average of the same days during the previous four weeks. This provides a baseline of "normal behavior" that allows you to look at what changed during the event timeframe. The outcome can illustrate the impact of hosting an event on your community.

In this module you can understand how visitor and resident spending changed during your event date in key leisure categories: restaurants, attractions, retail, and nightlife.
Subscribers to Zartico Lodging Data will also see lodging lift metrics, including changes in occupancy and ADR.

Follow these steps to see an Event's Impact:

Step 1: Select the date range of when the event occurred.

Step 2: If you subscribe to Zartico Lodging data, look at how your accommodation changed compared to the same time frame in the previous four weeks. NOTE: If you do not have STR, you will not see these insights in your module and will not see blank insights.
