Zartico AI Prompts for Reporting

Ready-to-use prompts that help you turn Zartico data into executive summaries, trend analyses, stakeholder talking points, and destination reports.

Report Types

Destination-Wide Insight AI Prompt

Output: Board-ready summary (see format swaps below)

Zartico Product: Z5

Modules to Export & Add: Executive Pulse, Visitor Snapshot, Lodging Insight

Filters: Destination-wide. Your selected data range.

Prompt: Copy/paste into AI platform

You are a tourism data analyst preparing a report for the [DESTINATION] board / tourism commission. They're smart and results-focused, but most are not data specialists — they care what the numbers mean for the local economy, jobs, and community.

I'm pasting exports from three Zartico Z5 modules for [PERIOD]:

  • Executive Pulse: visitor vs. resident balance, % of spending from visitors, category spend, top visitor markets, top places visited.

  • Visitor Snapshot: % out-of-state, avg. daily visitor spend, origin markets, spend by category.

  • Lodging Insight: occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, demand, revenue.

Notes on the data:

  • Demographics reflect calendar year 2025, not my reporting period.

  • Only use the numbers I've provided. Don't estimate or invent figures.

  • If a claim would need data I haven't given you, say so.

Write a board-ready summary that:

  1. Opens with the single most important takeaway (the headline).

  2. Backs it with 3-4 specific data points in plain language.

  3. Connects the numbers to real-world impact — economic, jobs, community.

  4. Ends with what the numbers mean going forward and what to keep watching.

Optional Format Swaps

  • One-pager: "Keep it to one page. Confident, plain language, no jargon."

  • Board deck outline: "Structure as 6-8 slides. For each, give a slide title (the takeaway as a headline), 2-3 supporting bullets, and a note on which chart to show."

  • Talking points: "Give me speaking notes for a 5-minute verbal update — what I'd say, in order, out loud."

Year-Over-Year Trends AI Prompt

Output: Short trend readout (see format swaps below)

Zartico Product: Z5

Modules to Export & Add: Visitor Snapshot, Lodging Insight

Filters: Destination-wide. Your selected data range.

Prompt: Copy/paste into AI platform

You are a tourism data analyst helping me interpret year-over-year trends for [DESTINATION].

I'm adding two Zartico modules for [PERIOD]. Both already show this period next to the same period last year:

  • Visitor Snapshot: % out-of-state, avg. daily visitor spend, % of spend to local businesses, origin markets, spend by category — each vs. last year.

  • Lodging Insight: occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, demand, revenue, booking window, length of stay — each vs. last year.

Rules for the data:

  • Only use the numbers I've provided. Don't estimate or invent.

  • This is shares, rates, and averages — not totals. Don't calculate total visitation, total spend, or economic impact.

  • Demographics reflect calendar year 2025, not my reporting period.

  • Flag any yellow/red sample size as directional.

Help me understand what changed:

  1. Identify the 3-4 most important year-over-year shifts.

  2. For each, explain in plain language what it likely means — pair every % with its direction and comparison point.

  3. Flag anything surprising.

  4. Suggest 2-3 questions to dig into next.

Optional Format Swaps

  • Trend memo: "Write it as a short internal memo — direct and clear."

  • One slide: "Give me a single slide: the headline trend, three supporting numbers, and a one-line 'so what.'"

  • Talking points: "Speaking notes for a 3-minute trend update."

  • Watch list: "End with a short 'watch list' of 3 things to monitor next quarter."

  • Email to leadership: "Write a brief email flagging the single biggest shift to leadership."

  • This-year-vs-last table: "Lay the figures in a clean table — this year, last year, and what changed."

Sector Performance AI Prompt

Output: Partner summary (see format swaps below)

Zartico Product: Z5

Modules to Export & Add: Local Visitor Lens, Executive Pulse, Visitor Behavior

Filters: Destination-wide. Your selected data range. Filter Visitor Behavior module to the sector/segment you are looking at.

Prompt: Copy/paste into AI platform

You are a tourism data analyst preparing a one-sheet for our [SECTOR] partners in [DESTINATION] — for example restaurant owners, hoteliers, or retailers. They want to understand how visitors affect their sector. Write it for a business owner, not an analyst.

I'm pasting Zartico exports for [PERIOD]:

  • Local Visitor Lens: share of spending by visitor type (residents, local visitors, true visitors) for this category, and how local visitors spend vs. true visitors.

  • Executive Pulse: % of [CATEGORY] spend from visitors and avg. daily visitor spend in this category.

  • Visitor Behavior (filtered to [CATEGORY]): visitor makeup and behavior.

Definitions and rules:

  • "Local Visitors" = within 50 miles but not residents. "Visitors" = traveled 50+ miles. Keep them distinct.

  • Only use the numbers I've provided; don't estimate or invent.

  • This is shares and averages — not totals.

  • Flag any yellow/red sample size as directional.

Write a partner summary that:

  1. Leads with how much of this sector's business comes from visitors vs. locals.

  2. Shows what's changing year over year.

  3. Ends with 2-3 observations worth the partner's attention.
Optional Format Swaps
  • Partner one-sheet: "Format as a one-page handout — headline stat first, then the spend split, then the takeaway."

  • Email to partners: "Write a warm, brief email to our [SECTOR] partners."

  • Partner-meeting slide: "Give me one slide: headline stat, the visitor-vs-local split, and one takeaway."

  • Talking points: "Speaking notes for presenting this to a partner association."

  • LinkedIn post: "Write a short post a partner could share, ending on an encouraging note."

  • Owner Q&A: "Answer the two questions a [SECTOR] owner would ask about these numbers."

City / County Report AI Prompt

Output: Stakeholder summary (see format swaps below)

Zartico Product: Z5

Modules to Export & Add: Executive Pulse, Visitor Snapshot, Visitor Behavior

Filters: Filter by City or County for Visitor Snapshot and Executive Pulse modules. Filter by Region for Visitor Behavior module.

Prompt: Copy/paste into AI platform

You are a tourism data analyst preparing a report for [CITY/COUNTY], one of the areas within [PARENT DESTINATION], for its local stakeholders.

I'm pasting Zartico exports filtered to [CITY/COUNTY] for [PERIOD]:

  • Visitor Snapshot: visitor makeup, origin markets, spend.

  • Executive Pulse: visitor economic contribution.

  • Visitor Behavior: top places and how visitors behave here.

Rules for the data:

  • Only use the numbers I've provided; don't estimate or invent.

  • This is shares, rates, and averages — not totals. Don't calculate total visitation, total spend, or economic impact.

  • Sample sizes are devices/cardholders measured, not a count of visitors.

  • Demographics reflect calendar year 2025, not my reporting period.

  • Lodging is destination-wide and not reported at the city/county level —  don't imply lodging figures are specific to this area.

  • Flag any yellow/red sample size as directional.

Write a summary for [CITY/COUNTY] stakeholders that:

  1. Leads with this area's visitor economy headline.

  2. Shows its top markets and how visitors behave here.

  3. Notes what makes this area distinct within the larger destination.

Optional Format Swaps

  • Area one-pager: "Keep it to one page, titled for [CITY/COUNTY]. Headline stat first."

  • Commission slide: "Give me one slide for a [CITY/COUNTY] commission meeting."

  • Email to local lead: "Write a brief email to the [CITY/COUNTY] tourism lead."

  • Talking points: "Speaking notes for a 3-minute local update."

  • Compare to average: "Add a short table showing how this area compares to the destination average."

  • Multi-area deck: "If I paste data for several areas, build one comparison slide ranking them on visitor share and spend."

  • Local press blurb: "A short paragraph for the [CITY/COUNTY] newsletter or local press."
