      Understanding trip type by Visitors (Trip Segmentation)

      We've developed the following trip segmentation below to illuminate the insights for your visitor economy.

      • Short trip: 2-4 hours at your destination
      • Day trip: 4-8 hours at your destination
      • Long day trip: +8 hours at your destination, no overnight stay
      • Overnight trip: +8 hours at your destination, with overnight stay (observed the next day or 24 hours after entering your destination boundary)
