Streamlined for Speed
One of the many ways we provide the clearest view of the visitor economy is by optimizing the insights within the ZDOS based on partner usage and feedback. Listening to our partners, and removing insights or data streams with low value, allows us to deliver a product that is simpler, faster, and ultimately more valuable.
Therefore, we have removed both Twitter and YouTube data streams (Basics only) from the Marketing: Social Media module. If your marketing strategy grows to where you need access to Twitter or YouTube please contact your sales representative directly.
To enable faster load times and make room for new innovations, 2019-2020 historical data has also been archived from your ZDOS, but the data will still be available through strategic analysis. We estimate this update will speed up the load time of the application by more than 25%. Important note, STR, AirDNA, Google Analytics, Google Campaign Manager, Facebook, and Instagram data from 2019 & 2020 will remain.
Enhanced Location Data Reliability
In our ongoing effort to reduce the volatility of location data, we previously removed devices with unknown common evening locations from your geolocation data, resulting in increased stability and accuracy of device counts. We’ve recently applied this same filtering to unknown visitor origin market to update the Visitor-to-Resident Ratio and Overnight-to-Day-Trip Ratio benchmarks.
