February 17, 2023 Release Notes

“Knowledge is power and community is strength.”

This week we announced The Zartico Way, our expanded framework of customer service and community support. The Zartico Way couples the robust data intelligence of the ZDOS®️ with collaboration and community resources. Because insights are found both within the ZDOS and within our community.

The following new features and improvements are designed to maximize the ease by which you’re able to derive insights from the ZDOS.

Trends: Future Events - We've provided additional clarity on the insight, “What upcoming events are expected to have the biggest impact on air travel?,” by adding the following descriptor text, “Events with a Travel Impact less than 50 are filtered out of the insight.”

Also, we have a new process for adding/removing, and editing events. Partners can now provide feedback directly to PredictHQ via the links below. You will see the update in your ZDOS® within one week for single events or longer for bulk event uploads, depending on the number of events. If not, you will be reached out to directly for follow-up information.

Lastly, we fixed a bug that was causing some event data not to display properly in this module.

Trends: Visitor Flow - Added a visitor state filter in the State Product. This new feature provides the opportunity to remove in-state visitors from the insights.

Guide: Your Destination - Updated STR weekly and monthly insights to rolling 12 months with the current month excluded instead of YTD.

And added two new drill-ins to this module.

  1. Where are visitors going within my destination? Added Top POI by Region
  2. Visitor Economy Index - Added YOY % Changes By Data Source. This addition provides insight into the impacts of the changes affecting the Visitor Economy Index. This GIF will show you how to navigate this new drill-in feature.

Lodging: Hotel Monthly & Weekly - Added Primary Geography to the diagnostics section

Marketing: Website Content - Removed the drill-in insight for search query web sessions by content topic as this drill-in was causing inaccuracies in the data we provide.

Helpful Reminder: Please continue to make preparations for the migration from Google Universal Analytics to Google Analytics 4. In the meantime, please do not remove your current UA tags as we need those in place to maintain the connection until our integration with GA4 is complete. Click here for more information about dual tagging best practices.

Marketing Planning - Added School Holiday data to this module to assist with forecasting potential family-oriented visitation and event planning.
